Diep River Estuary Management Plan
The Diep River Estuary Management Plan compiled by consultants appointed by C.A.P.E. Estuaries Programme and the City of Cape Town was completed at the end of 2008 and submitted to the Blaauwberg Subcouncil and the public in 2009.
The task of implementing the plan has started, but applications for funding for the implementation must follow certain procedures which inevitably takes time. Some funding has been made available and some have been initiated, applications for more funds for the second half of this year is in the pipeline.
